“Great design gives voice to all stakeholders and creates spaces that support people from all backgrounds.”

Jessi’s passion for design stems from her belief that access to beauty is a fundamental human desire, and we can fulfill that desire through mindful design. The variety of project types landscape architecture offers is what fueled her ambition to become a landscape architect, especially working with natural systems to create beauty in the environment. Jessi enjoys being on a team that’s committed to an integrated design process, which ultimately attracted her to 3North. Aside from work, Jessi is busy maintaining her lush outdoor garden and greenhouse with a recent addition of a hydroponic system to obtain fresh greens year round. On the weekends, she and her partner spend time dehydrating, canning, smoking and freezing the food they harvest. If you ever have craving for freshly smoked trout or okra straight from the garden – she’s your gal!

Jessi received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Ball State University, and earned her Master of Science in Disaster Resilience Leadership from Tulane University. She is a licensed landscape architect in Washington State and Virginia. Jessi is also a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
