2026 Unified Design Summer Internship Application is Now Open!
DESIGN WITH US
The 3North Unified Design Summer Internship is a 10-week, immersive studio experience for curious, motivated design students ready to dive into real-world projects. Based in our Richmond, Virginia office, the program is built for students of advanced standing who are eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute meaningfully within a design-driven practice.
From day one, interns become part of our open-studio culture—working side by side with designers across disciplines, gaining hands-on experience, and seeing how ideas move from concept to execution.
WHAT YOU’LL BE PART OF
- Collaborate across architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and graphic design
- Contribute to active projects within Hospitality, Residential, and C-Studio (Commercial and Cultural Studio)
- Learn how a design firm operates—from creative vision to project delivery
- Engage with 3North’s Intangible Qualities (IQ) and design process
- Experience a studio environment that values curiosity, dialogue, and craft
For Summer 2026, three (3) Unified Design interns will be selected. Applicants are welcome to note any studio interests or preferences in their application.
