Claire has always been drawn to art and making. She was especially interested in architecture because of the way it balances creativity with real-world constraints, turning ideas about form and space into something functional and impactful. She’s inspired by the way thoughtful design can shape everyday moments and bring people together. At 3North, she values a collaborative, people-first approach and a process rooted in listening, community, and a strong sense of place.
Outside the studio, Claire stays connected to the broader design community through her involvement with AIA Virginia’s Leaders in Architecture & Business Program and AIA Richmond’s K–12 Outreach Committee. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids, painting, gardening, and staying active.
Claire earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia School of Architecture, with a minor in Studio Art, and is a registered architect in Virginia and an IIDA member.
