From a young age, Marie would fill her sketch books with humorously not-to-code “dream home” plans next to doodles of horses. What was once a desire to create beautiful spaces led to a greater interest of the impact design has on communities. Her passion for the arts, architecture, technology and design has interwoven throughout the years with a common vision for meaningful experiences. Her background ranges from interior design, brand development, and experience design – a diverse use of disciplines brought on by her constant curiosity and passion to solve problems. Marie was drawn to 3North by our commitment to each individuals success and in return, a diverse culture of curious designers. She is equally excited about working with strangers on design sprints to quiet journaling over coffee. When she isn’t halfway deep into a roll of trace paper, you can find Marie running along the trails of the James River Park System or exploring this beautiful city with friends, family, and her dog.
Marie is NCIDQ certified. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University.
