Process
The design of a majestic estate house in the French Renaissance style on property overlooking the James River included collaboration of 3north’s design staff with designer Bunny Williams. Landscape elements included multiple outbuildings, a pool and tennis court, formal gardens, and fountains. The grand residence includes integrated systems for optimal energy efficiency ranging from geothermal heat pumps to sophisticated lighting controls, automated shading, and photo-voltaics.
