The promise of continued growth, the ability to create beautiful structures and the assurance that he’d never face the same problem twice is what drew Patrick to architecture. Since joining 3North, he’s been glad to find that practicing architecture requires a deep knowledge of constantly evolving skills and techniques. When visiting new places, Patrick enjoys considering how scale, density, materials, and other architectural qualities impact his experience. He believes that interacting with the world is essential to creating places for people to inhabit in different ways. That belief extends beyond his work at 3North, as Patrick enjoys running on trails and city streets as a way to fully experience his surroundings.
Patrick received his Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
