"Great design can help solve real problems and make our lives better. Sometimes it’s just in the way it affects your mood, and sometimes it's in tangible ways that shape our behaviors."

Amy is passionate about creating purposeful designs that improve people’s lives by increasing productivity and positively impacting emotion. She has been especially inspired by places that possess an aesthetic and form that are created in order to solve a problem. Amy became an interior designer by way of studying studio art – pursuing a career in interior designer was a logical next step that enabled her to incorporate her love of art into a long-term career. She’s welcomed the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team at 3North, noting that working with colleagues from other disciplines often results in great learning and the development of new skills. On the weekends, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, prepping for the coming week, or relaxing at the beach.

Amy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Christopher Newport University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University.
