Process
Named after one of Richmond’s largest rail yards, the site will consist of retail and residential space. With direct access to the James River and the Virginia Capital Trail, the development will be geared toward active residents. Bike and watercraft storage, a pool and game courts will be available to residents, along with stunning views of the James River from the roof deck. Emphasis was placed on creating urban-scaled pedestrian streetscapes to complement the commercial storefronts. Public art and train trestle improvements will pay tribute to the historic Fulton neighborhood.
