Process
Part “Home”, part “Gallery” this new residence is designed at the nexus of two established neighborhoods – one a conventional grid featuring traditional homes, the other a rolling landscape hosting an array of architectural styles. Designed in close collaboration with our clients as an urban sanctuary for themselves and their extensive modern art collection this home is intended to perform equally well as a place to entertain as it is a place to escape. Deliberately blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors through a “grounded” material palette and expansive windows offering curated views into the landscape, the experience offers concurrent appreciation of the “natural” and of the “manmade”
