John Adam Hugo, AIA, a 3north founder who provides overall leadership and management, is the firm’s Renaissance man, licensed not only as an architect, but also a landscape architect and interior designer. A visionary who masterminds 3north and specializes in residential and land planning projects, he also directs design for his affiliate firm, Grace Street Home Additions. Jay, who designs award-winning houses, plans neighborhood developments, and invents patented systems for home construction and design, still finds time to write provocative articles that challenge his fellow architects to enrich the environment through responsible design.
Jay Hugo received a BS in architecture from the University of Virginia, and earned his Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
